What the model is suitable for
conditionally suitable for blue-water sailing and long-distance cruising
Very light, fast performance catamaran with foam core, CE category A and an ARC win. Against that stand a court-documented keel loss in the Atlantic with established construction and infusion defects, an insolvent shipyard with no warranty and, on the TS 42, only around 1,4 t payload. For ocean passages only with an independent surveyor's report on keels, laminate and bulkheads. The 2015 test praises the speed, stiffness and workmanship of the test boat, but confirms the tight payload and the small tanks.
