What the model is suitable for
conditionally suitable for blue-water sailing and long-distance cruising
Large catamaran on the platform of the Lagoon 50 with CE category A, very large tanks and full laminate below the waterline – on paper a good basis for long-distance cruising. However, there are documented reports of heavy rudder pressure from 15 kn, rudder vibration and open helm stations without weather protection. Owner long-distance reports are almost entirely absent, therefore only conditionally suitable.
