What the model is suitable for
conditionally suitable for blue-water sailing and long-distance cruising
Successor to the Saona 47 with the same hulls, a new saloon and a larger flybridge, but around 900 kg heavier. Large tanks and a galley up top favour long periods at anchor. Against that are a balsa core, no inside helm station, moderate sailing performance and almost no owner or long-distance reports. Issue 196 praises the build and the sailing, but calls the systems noisy; owner ocean experience is still lacking.
