What the model is suitable for
suitable with restrictions for blue-water sailing and long-distance cruising
Two generations under one name: the first Catana 50 (2007–2011, Barreau design) and the Catana OC 50 (from 2020). The first is large and heavy for two people, the OC 50 Version 1 has an isolated helm station. Both generations have daggerboards and are regarded as fast sailers. After the fire at the yard (02.07.2026), the OC 50 continues to be built.
